Our Mission
Oregon Family Council aims to educate, equip, and encourage the Christian community to be salt of the earth and the light of the world through strategic involvement in the civic arena.
Established in 1980, Oregon Family Council provides Oregon’s Christian community with information about elections and voting. In the beginning this primarily took shape in the form of the Christian Voter’s Guide and was distributed through a small network of Portland area churches.
Within four years, the popularity of the Voter’s Guide grew and soon it was being published and distributed to a statewide audience. Today, over 1,800 Oregon churches make the Christian Voter’s Guide available to their congregations. Thousands of voters across the state also receive a free copy delivered in their mailbox around election time.
